Louviers Federal Credit Union was chartered in 1968 and has operated continuously in New Castle County since its inception.  Our primary mission has been to serve the financial needs of those individuals that share our core common bond.  This mission continues to be the primary driving force behind the credit union today.  Through the years, Louviers FCU has built a reputation of conservative financial soundness and has maintained a sound membership base. 

 In our 40 year history, we have grown in membership to almost 11,000 and in assets to over $167 million.  We remain a sound and well-managed institution dedicated to servicing our membership through the people-helping-people philosophy of credit unions.  We have a reputation for soundness and integrity.  We are one of the most respected not-for-profit financial institutions in the area.  
  

Louviers Federal Credit Union exists for you to provide a source of credit and a systematic, more efficient way to save.  It is run by a volunteer Board of Directors, elected by members.  Based on your needs, the Credit Union continually develops new financial products and services, delivered to you by a professional staff.
