“During the holiday season, it is always good to take a look at families in our community who need our help. The Mission of United Cerebral Palsy of Delaware (UCP) is to promote the overall quality of life, independence, and equality of children and adults with Cerebral Palsy and other disabilities and their families. They do this through their summer camps (Camp Manito & Camp Lenape) through their work to provide social services and housing, through their Early Childhood Education program at Sussex Technical High School, and through their Community Living program where they help adults with disabilities to access the community using their wheelchair, accessible vans. UCP’s programs touch over 400 families a year, and some of those families need extra help, especially over the holidays. Those in need might be adults with disabilities living on their own, or children with disabilities living with their parents. Your help can make a big difference to them!” – UCP Staff
